About The Position
The Vernal Radiology Receptionist will be responsible for performing the following job duties:: Answers phones and greets patients Ordering radiology procedures Communicating with radiologists and technologists for protocoling of radiology procedures Schedules patients Assists with insurance pre-authorization of radiology procedures Registers patients in the Hospital Information System in a friendly, confidential, and timely manner. Other duties include interacting with Cerner Electronic Medical Record, report tracking, coordinating with physician offices, exam billing,, and assisting in data entry charges...
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, pleasant personality, be highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with physicians professionally.
- Computer experience preferred
