About The Position

The Radiology / Rad Tech position involves administering x-rays to various anatomy of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires operating x-ray equipment, developing film, and preparing the room for radiological procedures.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible, must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and must be registered within one year of hire date.
• Registry must be current and updated before the expiration date.
• Current BLS certification through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
