About The Position
PTO Position: MRI Tech We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Tech to join our team. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. Your primary role will be to operate the MRI equipment, acquire images, and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Shift and Schedule: This position requires a rotating shift schedule, including every other holiday and weekend. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will discuss specific shift and schedule details during the interview process. 7am to 5pm daily, 40 hours schduled.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI
- State licensure as an MRI Tech
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly and make necessary adjustments for optimal imaging
- Monitor patients during procedures and address any concerns or reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate and timely diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep up-to-date with new MRI technology and techniques through ongoing education and training
