We are pleased to announce the introduction of neurosurgery interventions aimed at enhancing stroke response and thrombectomy procedures. This is a combined posting for a Radiology Interventional Technologist and Senior Radiology Interventional Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Assists with Interventional Radiology procedures proficiently with various physician types, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neurosurgeons) to achieve desired outcomes. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas. Brings ideas of improvement to the attention of Management. Plans, coordinates, and ensures quality care is provided to patients in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Department. Assists Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neurosurgeons and Diagnostic Imaging RNs to achieve desired outcomes in IR. Provides guidance and participates in the development and growth of the IR department. Contributes to the development and training of IR Technologists. Contributes to operational processes in IR which include but not limited to patient schedule management, IR supply oversight, environment of care, Department of Health, Joint Commission inspections, Radiation Safety, Dosimetry, and policy development.

Requirements

  • Radiology Interventional Technologist Required Qualifications: Two years community college/vocational training in a certified radiological technologist training program. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Senior Radiology Interventional Technologist Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Two years community college/vocational training in a certified radiological technologist training program. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years of previous experience to include the equivalent of three years previous special procedures and or cardiac catheterization experience with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high risk procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare related Bachelors Degree.
  • ARRT Credentials in Vascular Interventional Radiography
  • 1 year experience to include the equivalent of previous special procedures and/or cardiac catheterization experience with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high risk procedures.
