Radiology Instructor - School of Radiologic Technology Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. Requirements

  • Two years of clinical experience.
  • Associates Degree
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
  • Am Reg Of Radio Technologists
  • Sc Radiation Quality Standards

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the Program Director of The School of Radiologic Technology for the efficient and effective instruction of all students, that include class assignments and competencies required to be completed by the student.
  • Oversees, writes, and revises lesson plans to meet criteria for JRCERT, and the college.
  • Evaluates, documents student's progress and counsels students on results.
  • Participates in professional society meetings, workshops, and seminars.
  • Handles student-related functions (e.g. selection, discipline) according to School of Radiology, Radiology and MRMC policies.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and development in the field through continuing education.
  • Represents the hospital in a positive manner at all times.
  • Completes annual training and other duties as assigned.
