As part of the imaging program, this internship is designed to expose students to direct practice in the field of imaging while completing a required accredited Radiology, Ultrasound or Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Participates in and contributes to department projects to receive introductory work experience related to imaging activities. Requirements

  • CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • Current enrollment in an accredited school of radiology and must be in junior or senior year.
  • Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
  • Basic computer skills to operate a computer efficiently and effectively.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to understand detailed instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
  • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
