The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University invites applications for a faculty position in Radiology. Preference is for a full-time, 12-month academic position at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. However, applications for part-time positions will be considered. Appointment may be in a tenure or clinical track depending on the qualifications and goals of the successful candidate. Candidates must possess a DVM or equivalent degree, be eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey, and board-certified or board eligible in ACVR or ECVDI. The successful candidate will be a founding faculty member of the SSVM and play an integral role in the development and delivery of an integrated veterinary curriculum constructed around organ systems. Clinical service duties include diagnostic imaging services provided for the SSVM teaching hospital. This 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located on the Glassboro Campus provides both primary and specialized care for companion, food and fiber animals throughout New Jersey and surrounding states. Creative scholarly activity is expected to advance the discipline of veterinary diagnostic imaging though the creation and dissemination of new knowledge, but the extent will depend on the candidate’s appointment and may include collaborative or independent research.
