About The Position

A Radiology Extern is responsible and accountable
for cleaning and setting up equipment and assisting technologists and other
healthcare workers in order to provide quality patient care and services.
Organize work assignments, conduct-imaging room set up, patient verification,
explain procedures to patients; help in patient transfers from and to beds, and
wheelchairs. Maintain the supplies room, set up exam rooms, and accurately
position patients on applicable equipment for exams. Ensure patient comfort;
engage patients and coworkers in ethical conduct, and adherence to regulatory
requirements. Radiology Extern is responsible for bringing patients to and from
various facility departments.
