About The Position

The position is for a Diagnostic Technologist at Navicent Health Medical Center, specifically in the Radiology department. This full-time role requires the individual to work from Monday to Thursday, from 1 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay range for this position is between $40.30 and $60.45 per hour. The primary responsibilities include performing all major job functions of a Diagnostic Technologist, supervising the shift, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining performance standards. The role also involves managing resources, communicating effectively with staff and physicians, and participating in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Registered (current, valid) ARRT.
  • High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
  • Graduate of a JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of three years of radiology experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Good communication skills and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all major job functions of Diagnostic Technologist for designated shift.
  • Supervise shift and ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Provide leadership for shift and maintain standards of performance.
  • Monitor tech productivity and utilize progressive disciplinary action as needed.
  • Manage resources appropriately, including supply management and staffing.
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, staff, and administration.
  • Act as PACS super user and assist with house-wide PACS needs.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring technologists for the shift.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and manage Time and Attendance records.
  • Promote interdepartmental relationships and ensure quality patient services.
  • Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
