About The Position

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Radiology Clerk to join our Imaging team! Employment Type: Part Time Shift: .6 FTE, 24hrs/wk. M-F 8hr/day, 3days/wk. Weekend and holiday requirements. Per department needs. : The clerk is required to perform a range of clerical duties which require independent judgment. This position must demonstrate an awareness of hospital and departmental policy regarding film retention and release. The clerk is required to answer the phone and utilize office equipment such as fax machines and copiers. The clerk is expected to have a thorough understanding of the hospital EMR and Radiology PACS systems. Other job duties as needed to meet the needs of the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical office work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform all clerical duties
• Answer phones, burn CDs, assist with patient throughout in radiology department
• Utilize hospital EMR and radiology PACS system
• Accept additional assignments and tasks as needed
