About The Position

The Radiology Clerk position at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, reports to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging. The role involves assisting the director, patients, and other department personnel to ensure a smooth flow of written and verbal communication between physicians, patients, and the Diagnostic Imaging Department. The clerk also helps achieve departmental goals and objectives related to optimum patient care. Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital and merged in 1992, is a 238-bed community hospital network comprising a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Clerical, typing and computer experience.
