About The Position
Radiology Assistant at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Provide ongoing patient services for the Imaging departments by checking in patients for their Imaging procedures. Assist all patients through their Imaging procedure in a compassionate and time efficient manner. Perform a variety of procedures which include Contrast administration, Venipuncture as determined by departmental leadership in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Requirements
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology education.
- Upon hire: Venipuncture certification
- 1 year of experience in an outpatient or hospital x-ray setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing patient services for the Imaging departments by checking in patients for their Imaging procedures.
