About The Position

Vision’s Radiology Assistants provide administrative support for the Company’s diagnostic radiology clinical staff, clients, and technical support team. Please Note: This is a Remote Night-Shift role, including Weekends and Holiday shifts. This remote position can be performed anywhere within the United States. A high-bandwidth, stable, and reliable internet connection is required.

Requirements

  • Ability to work evening/night shifts required
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Healthcare experience is required
  • Previous Technologist, Radiology Assistant, or imaging experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer focus with excellent customer service
  • Strong ability to multitask due to periods of high-volume workload on any given day
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work with all levels of management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accept safety and quality of patient care, treatment, and services as a responsibility and priority
  • Responsible for answering phone calls from hospitals during peak hours
  • Assist with resolving any client questions/concerns that do not require a radiologist
  • Notify radiologists or the appropriate Vision staff member (if applicable) with client questions to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Re-fax and send HL7 (i.e., studies that a client is unable to locate)
  • Partner with IT as needed to help troubleshoot any exams that are not coming through
  • Minor troubleshooting with our clients
  • Reach out to the appropriate contact at the hospital to gather any information that may have been left out of the information sent over to Vision
  • Inform the Radiologists of high-priority studies (stroke, AI stat, ROB, ICH), change exam priority, and monitor to ensure they are read as soon as possible
  • Inform Radiologist of follow-up study that belongs to them
  • Assign and remove prior comparison studies on the list that were sent for comparison
