About The Position

The Radiologic & CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment. The ideal candidate brings strong imaging knowledge, excellent patient interaction skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team. You will play a critical role in ensuring high‑quality images, patient safety, and efficient imaging workflows across radiology and CT services.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
• Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of radiology experience
• IV Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality‑specific competency in all clinical and technical functions
• Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation
• Perform radiologic and CT exams according to department protocols and review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
• Complete imaging studies within established timeframes without compromising quality or patient care
• Assist with and instruct students and other Radiology Technologists on exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment use
• Provide patient education, promote comfort, and address patient questions or concerns
• Practice appropriate infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate imaging equipment and related information systems to ensure high‑quality diagnostic results
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, exams performed, and any adverse reactions
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and reporting equipment failures
