About The Position

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiology Aide to join our imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 4:30PM - 9:15PM with weekends as needed.
Aids as requested to Radiology Department staff, patients, and nursing personnel.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Assists the radiologic technologist and radiologist with procedures to facilitate patient flow.
• Provides appropriate patient safety measures to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
• Develops films to ensure maintenance of patient flow.
• Prepares room set-up to ensure availability of procedural needs.
• Transports patients to maintain patient flow.
• Assembles and files radiology jackets to ensure timely examination processing.
• Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
