About The Position

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiology Aide to join our imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a .2 FTE (16 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 8AM - 4:30PM. Aids as requested to Radiology Department staff, patients, and nursing personnel.

Requirements

High School or equivalent
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Assists the radiologic technologist and radiologist with procedures to facilitate patient flow.
Provides appropriate patient safety measures to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
Develops films to ensure maintenance of patient flow.
Prepares room set-up to ensure availability of procedural needs.
Transports patients to maintain patient flow.
Assembles and files radiology jackets to ensure timely examination processing.
Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
