About The Position

Under general supervision, performs duties of Radiology Aide I and also assists with advanced level procedures such as stereotactic, ultrasound, and guided core needle biopsies. Participates as a member of the imaging team and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. Provides related clerical duties to the practice, demonstrating a high level of competence. Note: Incumbent must be assisting with the advanced level procedures to use this job code.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
• Skills and experience typically acquired through at least three years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably diagnostic imaging.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, computer and organizational skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Previous experience in a job that requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize activities preferred.
