About The Position

Radiologist needed in San Antonio, TX Location: San Antonio, TX Specialty: Radiology Setting: Integrated outpatient/inpatient health system Role Overview Examines and diagnoses conditions using diagnostic imaging Interprets and reports on MRI, CT, PET, and ultrasound studies Reviews and transmits images via PACS Communicates findings with referring providers, patients, and families Key Responsibilities Obtain and review patient history and clinical data Prepare comprehensive interpretive reports Assess patient risk factors (e.g., contrast allergies) Counsel patients on imaging procedures, risks, and benefits Coordinate radiology services with other medical teams Establish and monitor quality control and safety standards Implement protocols (radiation safety, MRI safety, infection control) Participate in quality improvement and continuing education Provide teleradiology coverage for satellite locations Serve as Radiology Medical Director for ACR & IAC site accreditations Requirements Maintain clinical competencies per policy Strong customer service and professional communication skills Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance HealthPlus Staffing is National Leader in the Healthcare Staffing Industry.
