Requirements

Board Certification or Eligibility with the American Board of Radiology
Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility)
Proven experience interpreting MRI studies and managing a balanced case load
BLS Certification and a commitment to compassionate, accurate care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Interpret high-quality MRI studies, providing accurate, timely, and patient-centered reports
Offer expert consultations and guidance to referring physicians and clinical partners across Shields’ network of outpatient imaging centers and partner hospitals
Collaborate closely with technologists, nurses, and administrative staff to support efficient, patient-focused operations
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with referring providers to enhance care coordination and diagnostic excellence
Participate in peer learning, quality assurance, and ongoing professional development
Contribute to a supportive, team-based environment committed to clinical quality and service excellence
