About The Position

Utilizes radiologic equipment with proper techniques and procedures to obtain appropriate radiological images as directed by the physician under the guidance of a Registered Technologist. Requirements

Must be enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program
Must be in the final stages of your Radiology Tech program.
Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
Basic arithmetic skills are required.
Identifies and resolves problems promptly.
Must be computer literate. Basic computer skills required.
ARRT certification and a current license in Tennessee or Mississippi (depending on the work location) is required and must be maintained.
Must take the first attempt to obtain a license within 90-days of graduating from the Rad Tech Program.

Responsibilities

Utilizes radiologic equipment with proper techniques and procedures to obtain appropriate radiological images as directed by the physician.
Instructs patients appropriately on radiological procedure
Maintains images in our electronic system
Maintains and cleans examination rooms and equipment and work area
Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others
Performs other related duties as assigned
