Radiological Technologist I
About The Position
Our Cath Lab is looking for a qualified Cardiovascular Radiographer - EP Tech I is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist, performs procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart arrthymias while maintaining maximum patient safety. EP Tech I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques, operation of other related equipment and assisting cardiologist during procedure. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Requirements
- Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is being performed and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- CPR certification
- Two-year experience as an RT or one year as a Cath Lab tech/special procedure tech.
