While applications need to be submitted through this ad, you can learn more about the facility here: https://www.oaklandasc.com/ Radiological Technician (Per Diem Position) Responsibilities: Radiological Technician duties will consist of, but are not limited to: Performs quality imaging services in an efficient and effective manner. Operates C-arm for all cases requiring fluoroscopy. Demonstrates use of proper positioning to produce quality imaging. Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment to provide a safe environment for patients, physicians, and staff. Regularly inspects x-ray/radiologic equipment to ensure it is in proper working order. Performs startup procedures, calibration of equipment and troubleshooting. Ensures radiation-monitoring devices are used at all times. Monitors results and efficacy of monitoring devices. Reviews/updates all written policies and procedures relating to radiation. Utilizes proper radiation safety practices while working with radiation-producing equipment to ensure optimal results. Works with all members of the team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout his/her surgical experience. Adheres to all surgery center policies, procedures, safety requirements and performance improvement goals. Completes all documentation to ensure the availability of accurate and up to date information in accordance with established standards.
