About The Position

This position has a target start date of summer 2026. We offer you a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities in Radiological/Nuclear engineering. You will work with a multi-discipline engineering project team engaged in the design and engineering of upgrades and modifications to existing nuclear power plants in the following areas: Radiological dose calculations Shielding design calculations Radiation source term calculations Working under the direction of senior engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Radiological/Nuclear Engineering.

Requirements

  • This position requires active enrollment in a BS/MS in Nuclear Engineering with a strong academic background and coursework in radiological analysis
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Enrollment in an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
  • Prior, related internship or co-op experience
  • Experience with some of the following programs: MCNP RADTRAD MicroShield ORIGEN ARCON96
