What You'll Do as a Radiological Instrument Technician 3 Ensures internal & OP-06 listed lab equipment is operational & up-to-date on calibration; Performs weekly gamma range check; Performs basic & complex repairs to analog &/or digital electronic radiation detection equipment; Ensures radiological instruments are calibrated to National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) standards & internal laboratory standards; Serves as backup to the quality manager in their absence; Serves as lead worker by providing work direction to lower-level radiological instrument technicians performing repairs & calibrations; Click here to see full position description Emergency Management Agency Coordinates activities to mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters, both natural and man-made.
