About The Position
To perform diversified duties in radiology, including preparation and positioning of patients, operation of x-ray equipment, order x-ray supplies and keep abreast of x-ray procedures and safety precautions and procedures in the x-ray area. Work in physician office drawing blood, assisting providers with patients, obtains vitals and medical history. Returns patient calls and provides information to patient at the direction of the provider. Provides front-office support duties including, but not limited to: Obtaining referrals and pre-certifications, Collecting co-pays/pre-payments, Updating patient demographics, Answering telephones and scheduling appointments.
