About The Position

The position involves performing x-ray procedures on a diverse patient demographic including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires the individual to carry out related duties under the supervision of a Radiologist. A strong understanding of medical terminology, effective communication, and multitasking skills are essential. The candidate must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job and should be proficient in General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology. The work schedule is set at 1.0 FTE, with hours from 11 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Graduate of a JCERT accredited Program in Radiography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or BLS from the American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider).
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Good communication skills.
• General clerical skills.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures on patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Carry out related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a good understanding of medical terminology.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Multitask efficiently in a clinical environment.
• Meet the physical demands of the job.
• Work independently in the practice of General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology.
