About The Position

Available Rad Tech Positions:
Primarily Day Shift; Every Other Weekend 3rd Shift; On Call & Holiday Rotation
The Radiologic Technologist:
Perform radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
Prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
Remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.

Requirements

• Post High School Diploma Program
• BLS Certification
• RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date
