About The Position

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system focused on providing excellent, effective, affordable, and valuable healthcare by partnering with patients and their families. The Wilmington Hospital Radiology Department is seeking a Full Time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist. This position involves rotating day/evening shifts, working every 6th weekend, and every third holiday. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science
• ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Nice To Haves

• RT Technologist experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs
• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
