Patient Service Representative/Diagnostic Radiology Technologist:
Perform x-rays to support the convenient care and occasionally the other specialties in the building. As well as, perform front desk administrative duties.

Requirements

• ARRT registered or registry eligible in Radiology
• 1 year of Radiology experience preferred
• Three years’ experience in physician office with medical billing experience may be accepted in lieu of formal billing or PSR formal training
• Clinical training and Office automation
• Experience with practice management systems; EMRs; office automation skills; extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding and insurance reimbursement; strong communication and interpersonal skills; good organizational skills. Is committed to and demonstrates excellent customer service when dealing with all types of customers

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate problem-solving approach to plan performance of services.
• Provides services with consideration of the physical, psychosocial, cultural/spiritual, and age-specific needs of those served.
• Uses equipment/supplies appropriately.
• Uses appropriate safety and infection control measures.
• Teaches/directs/advises/informs others in an appropriate manner.
• Reports/records information correctly.
