The Mobile Radiologic Technologist, Driving (“Mobile RT”) works with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants in the examination and treatment of patients. This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. The position also provides administrative support for efficient center operation. The Mobile RT Driving collaborates with Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. All activities must be completed accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner, aligning with the vision to be the urgent care partner of choice by redefining value and access to quality care through an effortless experience, a culture of care, and seamless integration with partners and communities. The Mobile RT Driving works across multiple sites near one another, traveling to respective sites as patient care needs for X-ray arise. This traveling nature requires flexibility and responsiveness to patient and organizational needs, maximizing the quantity of X-Rays performed. Travel is by car and requires access to a vehicle, a valid State driver’s license, and passing an MVR background check as a condition of employment.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA))
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
Valid State Driver’s License
Must pass MVR background check
Access to a vehicle

Nice To Haves

Previous clinical experience
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Responsibilities

Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use
Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services
Push patient in a wheelchair
Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Centers
Provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication
Complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner
Be flexible and responsive to the needs of patients and the organization
