About The Position

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Masonic Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 11AM - 7PM with weekends as needed. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

Requirements

ARRT Radiology Tech
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Nice To Haves

1 year experience as a technologist

Responsibilities

Maintains patient care
Performs examinations
Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
Verify patient identification and documentation
Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
Ensures patient data integrity
Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
