About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic Radiology team. This multi-modality position focuses primarily on providing high-quality imaging services in the Operating Room (OR), Pain Management procedures, and general Radiology Department exams. There is also potential opportunity for training in CT and MRI for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • Current ARRT (R) certification
  • Current Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of OR imaging, C-arm operation, and fluoroscopy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in the Radiology Department, including routine, portable, and fluoroscopic exams
  • Provide imaging support for surgical procedures in the Operating Room (OR), including C-arm operation and sterile technique
  • Assist with interventional and imaging procedures in the Pain Management department
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients, selection of technical factors, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, rooms, and supplies for daily operations
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures, and images in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and state/federal regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required continuing education credits
