About The Position

A leading university seeks a detail‑oriented Radiologic Technologist . The successful candidate will identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Requirements

1 year of relevant experience.
Two-year degree.
One of the following certifications: California Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
ARRT and AMRIT license.
Basic knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, patient relations, medical imaging examination preparation, and medical imaging safety and screening procedures.
Basic knowledge and skills in the operation of medical imaging systems, 3D reformations, and post-processing procedures.
Basic working knowledge of medical imaging physics, principles, tissue contrast, and applications.
Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computer operating systems; experience in MR system operation and troubleshooting system and computer issues.
Ability to Experience in teaching and instruction of technologists, researchers, and/or physicians.
Ability to collaborate with other professional colleagues.
CT or MRI scanning.

Nice To Haves

Advanced ARRT registry (e.g. CT, MR, etc.) desired.

Responsibilities

Identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images.
Respond to detailed requests for views and/or images depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology.
