Radiologic Technologist , Full Time $20K Sign on Bonus
About The Position
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care in a clinic or practice environment. Rad Techs perform medical exams using X-rays on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease. This is a full-time position with an evening shift, including Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 11a-11:30pm, with on-call and holiday rotation required. Experience in Fluoroscopy procedures and OR is also required.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Radiology Program is required.
- Mammography certification is required for technologists working in Women's Center.
- Florida CRT License is required.
- ARRT certification is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experienced in Fluoroscopy procedures and OR.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
Responsibilities
- Routinely produces high quality images using proper exposure values and positioning.
- Images routinely have two visible borders of coning.
- Completes all requested work in a timely and orderly manner to maintain proper patient flow with other staff technologists.
- Assists supervisor or designee in coordinating procedures properly.
- Informs supervisor when cases are completed or pending and signs in and out of department correctly.
