Radiologic Technologist - ADIT
About The Position
Fairview is hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Department at our Masonic Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 week pay period) position that will work Mondays and Tuesdays from 11AM - 11PM. If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3:00PM - 11:00PM, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials. The Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
Requirements
- ARRT Certification/Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - from American Red Cross or American Heart Association and current before date of hire
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience as a technologist
- Experience working with pediatric patients
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient care
- Performs examinations
- Identifies relevant data from images accurately
- Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
- Participates in creating a culture of patient safety and demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
- Verify patient identification and documentation
