About The Position

The Diagnostic Radiology Department is seeking a dependable and motivated Radiology Technologist to join our team in a full-time night shift role. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital has a rich history in North Texas serving the local communities of Arlington, Kennedale, Pantego, Mansfield and Grand Prairie. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required Or Associate's Degree preferred
  • 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 months required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care and image acquisition.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to provide efficient, accurate, and timely imaging services.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within departmental systems.
  • Participate in ongoing education, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • May include occasional on-call responsibilities during weekends.
