About The Position

Family HealthCare is looking for a Radiologic Technologist. The Radiologic Technologist provides accurate and quality radiologic services to FHC patients and providers in order to ensure quality care and assist with other diagnostic department duties.

Requirements

• The ability to interact with staff and patients in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Familiarity with human anatomy and its relationship to radiographic procedures
• Mechanical skills
• Communication skills
• Basic office skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Exhibit cultural sensitivity and adherence to organizational mission
• ND Radiographer license
• Completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school
• ARRT registration

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain adequate supplies as needed in work areas
• Provide timely and accurate x-ray exams and communicate results to ordering provider
• Ensure equipment is maintained and working properly and updating maintenance logs as needed
• Assist lab personnel with various tasks including phlebotomy, pulmonary function testing, performing minimal lab tests, and sample handling
• Support organization as needed
