About The Position

This full-time Radiologic Technologist position involves coordinating and performing diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. The role requires open, accurate, and responsive communication, both oral and written, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines. Candidates must demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, be flexible to work overtime, on-call duty, and disaster work as needed, and possess a good understanding of age-related developmental issues across pediatric through geriatric patient populations. The position is classified as "safety sensitive," meaning impaired performance could harm the health and/or safety of self or others, and associates actively using medical marijuana will be excluded from employment in this role.

Requirements

  • Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of radiologic technology
  • Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain this status while employed at Unity Health (if a recent graduate, must actively be pursuing the Registry)
  • Knowledge of radiographic examinations as well as the procedures that require the use of contrast agents
  • Knowledge of radiographic equipment operations and radiation safety
  • Knowledgeable about patient transfers and positioning techniques

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 1 year radiologic experience
