About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dynamic Radiologic Technologist to join our collaborative radiology team. This role primarily involves performing diagnostic X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will also assist with patient triage, vital signs, and general patient care support in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification required
- Florida state licensure required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date
- No prior experience required – New graduates are welcome
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by providers, following radiation safety standards (ALARA principles)
- Prepare and transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation
- Room patients and record vital signs and patient history
- Assist patients and providers with transfers, exam preparation, and specimen collection
- Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and ensure adequate supply levels
- Transport patients as needed
