About The Position
Radiologic Technologist - Nights Location: Javon Bea Hospital Pay Range: $27.17 - $ 40.75 Shift: Nights Hours per week: 30 Hours; 8p-6a, or 9p-7a, every other weekend, 3 (10) hour shifts per week Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour) We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan with a competitive matching contribution and paid time off. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred
- Will consider new graduates
- ARRT Radiography registration required
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
- WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
- Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Reviews patients’ clinical history ensuring that appropriate order placed and labs are within range as needed- reviewing with radiologist as necessary
- Provides patient education.
- Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
- Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
