About The Position

Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist of GXMO for our Family Medicine & Pediatrics at Winchester Square office located in Canal Winchester, OH The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiologic procedures as ordered by Provider. This position collaborates with team and other departments to ensure quality patient care. The Radiology Technologist acts a resource to patient during their procedure. This position works with Physicians to communicate and share results. This is a full-time position working first shift hours Monday- Friday.

Requirements

Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist or GXMO
Current Ohio Department of Health Radiology license

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Responsible for explaining procedure to patient and answer questions.
Use a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials as well as various media.
Ensure equipment is in working order and reports malfunctions to appropriate person(s).
Process routine paperwork as necessary.
Maintain examination rooms, stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
Attend required staff and educational meetings.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
