About The Position

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system dedicated to providing excellent health care by partnering with patients and their families. The ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is actively recruiting for a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist. This position involves rotating day/midnight shifts, requiring work every 6th weekend and every third holiday. The specific shift mentioned is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7a-7:30p, with an expectation of working 1-2 holidays per year and every 6th weekend.

Requirements

3 years’ experience as a staff technologist
Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required
An Associate’s degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment
ARRT registered
Delaware State License
Certification in CPR

Responsibilities

Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
Developing and identifying radiographs
Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro
Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
Burn patient CD’s
