About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist works in the Radiology Department of Cherry Hospital performing Diagnostic Xray’s without technical supervision and Radiologic Technologist Supervisor evaluates performance. Work schedule will be M-F 7:30-4:00 with on call coverage for after hours, weekends, and holidays on a weekly basis. Requirements

High school or General Education Development (GED) diploma and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
AART Registered or eligible for registration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of anatomy, principals of imaging, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.
Knowledge of the principles of operating imaging machines and preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of safety procedures used for preventing or reducing radiation hazards.
Ability to work with a variety of customers including customers across all age groups, the disabled, vendors, and internal customers
Experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
