About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist position involves performing radiologic procedures, operating machines safely, assisting Radiologists with invasive procedures, articulating exam results to medical staff and patients, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, and performing clerical and support functions related to x-ray processes. The role also includes organizing work to meet customer needs and maintaining supply inventory.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within three months of hire.
  • Must maintain registry status in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Certification or re-certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • One or more years of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Radiologic procedures and operates all machines in a safe and proper manner.
  • Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures.
  • Articulates exam results, as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RNs, and patients.
  • Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures.
  • Performs clerical and support functions associated with x-ray process.
  • Organizes and prioritizes work to meet customer needs.
  • Helps to maintain adequate supply inventory
