About The Position

The Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a dependable and motivated X-Ray / Medical Assistant (BMO) to support our clinic. This hybrid position plays a key role in both clinical operations and diagnostic imaging, providing compassionate, efficient patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day — alternating between performing x-rays and assisting providers with patient rooming, vitals, and clinical support.

Requirements

• Current Florida X-Ray License or BMO required.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in orthopedics or outpatient clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality digital x-rays in accordance with Florida regulations and TOI protocols
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits, including vitals, documentation, and follow-up tasks
• Support patient flow to ensure timely and efficient clinic operations
• Maintain radiology and clinical equipment; ensure daily QA checks are completed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and front office staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Support supply inventory, stocking, and room turnover
• Follow all HIPAA and safety policies
