About The Position

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general public.
  • Ability to performance basic math.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical/clinical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Two to three years of x-ray training under supervision of a Radiologist preferred with experience in geriatric, adolescent, adult, and pediatrics.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • General education level.
  • Must have state certification.
  • Currently registered CRT or CRT eligible.
  • Registered ARRT or ARRT eligible.
  • BLS Certification.
  • CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Two to three years of x-ray training under supervision of a Radiologist preferred with experience in geriatric, adolescent, adult, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Department Director, the Radiologic Technologist provide diagnostic general radiography services as needed, with a high degree of quality.
  • Performs examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner so as to favorably promote the services of this department and the philosophy of this hospital in this community.
  • In addition, assumes clerical duties as needed in an effort to ensure the efficiency of the department.
