About The Position

The position involves performing x-ray procedures on a diverse patient demographic including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires carrying out related duties under the supervision of a Radiologist. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, exhibit strong communication and multitasking skills, and be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently and demonstrate competence in General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
• Graduate of a JCERT accredited Program in Radiography
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Good communication skills
• General clerical skills
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures on patients of all ages
• Carry out related duties under the direction of a Radiologist
• Demonstrate competence in General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology
• Maintain good communication with patients and staff
• Manage multitasking in a clinical environment
