About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Performs exams in the North 1 & 2 Medical-Surgical units, ICU, and surgical units, using fixed and portable imaging equipment. Performs routine and advanced imaging exams on outpatients, inpatients and ED patients. Performs patient care assessments and patient care duties as needed, to insure the safety and well-being of patients in his/her care. Ensures the quality control of imaging equipment and radiation safety of patients, visitors and workers.

Requirements

  • Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) licensure strongly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Current CA Fluoroscopy license required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Completion Certificate from a Radiological Technology Program required.

Nice To Haves

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) licensure.
  • Venipuncture certification.
