The Radiologic Technologist at Twin Cities Orthopedics will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring that all x-rays are performed accurately and efficiently according to physician's orders. This part-time position is based at the Eagan Orthopedic Surgery Center and requires the technologist to work on Mondays between the hours of 6:00 am and 5:00 pm. The role is essential in supporting the diagnostic and treatment processes for patients, and the technologist will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care throughout the imaging process. In this position, the Radiologic Technologist will be tasked with performing and developing quality x-rays on designated body parts, which are vital for physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. The technologist will also be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable. Additionally, maintaining radiology files, including both internal and external films, is a key responsibility, as is assisting provider teams in obtaining necessary imaging from other medical facilities. The role requires the technologist to prepare, clean, and stock the work area with necessary supplies, coordinate equipment maintenance and repair, and uphold safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. The technologist may also be required to supply patients with requested x-rays and perform any other duties as assigned by the management. This position is integral to the operations of the surgery center, contributing to the overall mission of Twin Cities Orthopedics to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community.
