About The Position

Hours | Schedule: Resource/ Per diem What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will do Greet patients and explain procedures. Answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures. Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures. Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique. Assist physicians during specialized procedures. Evaluate Images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading. Complete Health Streams by assigned due date. Obtain and maintain competency in accessing and documenting patient information in the automated patient medical record. Charge entry and selection of correct charges for services provided. Assures that the charges entered are consistent with services provided and supported by appropriate documentation. Utilizes Cerner (Powerchart and RadNet) computer programs and reviews and print results from PowerChart. What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will need: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
